Concentric War Epidemic - Life and Death Strike Synopsis: When the pandemic first broke out, doctors of all specialities went to the frontline to support voluntarily at once. Some of them were already in their 70s and 80s, but they were committed to saving lives as a lifelong duty. In order to save limited personal protection equipment (PPE), doctors and nurses worked for 10-12 hour shifts without eating, drinking or even going to the toilet. Although their faces and hands were left with painful red marks due to the prolonged wearing of PPE and repeated use of disinfectants, they were still working as long as they could and were doing everything to save the patients. Embrace Change Synopsis: Due to the lockdown, a personal trainer could not carry on with his scheduled classes and meet his clients in the gym, but he attempted to adapt to this change. He found new inspiration and strengths by doing exercise outdoors in the nature. He found himself with sharpened senses and stronger performance and he had never been more ready to go back to city life with a better self after the pandemic. Mother's Taxi Synopsis: Kyoko Nazakato, a taxi driver living in Tokyo, is the only female driver in the company and is supporting her daughter and mother alone. Although there had been a dramatic drop in her wage as people rarely go out and are unwilling to ride a taxi, she said that she will stay strong, and continue to serve clients with kindness as she loves her job. Customers had also shown support by telling the taxi drivers to keep their change after a ride. The Paradise Ship Synopsis: A boy and a girl who are siblings are living in a dark place underground. Someone regularly throws in food for them. One day, they receive a letter from their mom saying sorry that she could not stay; she loves them and will be watching over them; she is now on the paradise ship. A man wearing a mask wakes up in a dream like above, and sees his sister besides him. They go into a cemetery and find a middle-aged lady lying on a tomb. She wakes up coughing and says: I’ve been waiting for you for so long, go to the back of the cemetery where you will find a big tree, the paradise ship is there. They go to that place and the paradise ship says it will pick them up. Kiss Me through the Window Synopsis: Two young lady living next doors, Nakano and Madoka, got in to a relationship, but when the lockdown policies came, they could not go outdoors to see each other. They miss each other so dearly so Nakado wanted to visit Madoka, violating the restrictions. Madoka told her that we need to hang in there, otherwise if everybody does that, all the efforts for disease control will go to waste, but also reassured her that their relationship will not ‘go to waste’ because of this lockdown. Madoka actually could not stand the emotions, so she climbed over to Nakado’s flat via the balcony, but they only kissed each other through the glass window.
