WHAT WE DO
The Asia Content Business Summit (ACBS) was established in 2008. In the past 12 years, the ACBS has invited government officials and industry experts and enterprises to gather in a different Asian host city to participate in the summit. Through conferences and seminars, mostly during the Hong Kong International Filmart, the summit has helped different sectors in the industry, including film and television, music, animation, games etc. to constantly explore new development models.
The Summit also brings together resources to promote the content industry in Asia, such as initiating pan-Asian programs to encourage filmmaking.
The Asia Content Business Short Film Project, Project 19, is an initiate to promote the film industry in Asia by gathering and curating short film videos (under 5 minutes) under the topic of COVID-19 and how their communities have responded to the health crisis. The winner received a US$ 3000 prize money courtesy of the Ministry of Culture of Thailand and Content Thailand.
